İç mimarlık eğitimi pratiğe ve teoriye dayalı ilerlemektedir. Pratiğe dayalı eğitim sisteminde eksiklikler bulunmaktadır ve bu eksiklikler deneyimsizlik olarak öğrencilere geri dönmektedir. Uluslararası kuruluşlarda ve Türkiye’de İçmek platformu ve Mimarlar Odası tarafından bu sorunun tespiti yapılmış ve sorunu çözüme erdirebilmek için fikirler ortaya atılmıştır. Eğitim sürecinin yetersizliği, stajların verimsizliği, mesleğe dair pratik üslubunun olmayışı vb. konulara değinilmiştir. Türkiye’de ve dünyada meslek eğitimine dair sorunların tespitine yönelik çalışmalar hala yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmaların incelenmesi ve yeterliliğinin tartışılması da sorunların çözümüne bir adım daha yaklaştıracaktır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı İç Mimarlık Bölümü çerçevesinde meslek pratiği edinilmesine dair sorunların durum tespiti olarak belirlenmiştir.Professional practice, leadership professions are one of the most important elements for achieving first class success.
