Plagomani davranışının sebeplerinin belirlenmesi: bir ölçek geliştirme çalışması

| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, bireylerin plagomani davranışlarının sebeplerinin belirlenmesine yönelik psikometrik bir ölçüm aracının geliştirilmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda İstanbul ilinin Tuzla ilçesinde ikamet eden 18 yaş üstü 342 kişi çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Yöntem: Ölçek geliştirme sürecinde ilk olarak 25 ifadeden oluşan taslak ölçek formu oluşturulmuştur. Uzman görüşü ve pilot çalışma aşamalarının ardından 2 ifade ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Bu ifadelerin dışında kalan 23 ifade ile oluşturulan anket formu örneklem grubuna uygulanmıştır. Verilere ilk olarak açıklayıcı faktör analizi uygulanmış olup yapılan analiz sonucunda 4 faktör 23 ifadeden oluşan bir yapı bulunmuştur. Bulunan yapının teyit edilmesi için verilere doğrulayıcı faktör analizi uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda elde edilen modelin verilere mükemmel derecede uyum sağladığı tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular: “Endişe”, “Önlem”, “Erişim Kaygısı” ve “Takıntı” isimleri verilen 4 boyut ve 23 ifadeden oluşan bir ölçüm aracı geliştirilmiştir. Sonuç: Geliştirilen ölçeğin bireylerin plagomani davranışı konusunda tutumlarını ölçmek için kullanılabilecek güvenilir ve geçerli olan bir psikometrik ölçüm aracı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın ilgili çalışmalara öncü olması ve rehberlik etmesi beklenmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Aim: The aim of this study is to develop a psychometric measurement tool to determine the causes of individuals' plagomania behaviors. For this purpose, 342 people over the age of 18 residing in the Tuzla district of Istanbul were included in the study. Method: During the scale development process, first a draft scale form consisting of 25 statements was created. Following the expert opinion and pilot study stages, 2 statements were removed from the scale. The survey form, consisting of the remaining 23 items, was then administered to the sample group. Initially, explanatory factor analysis was applied to the data, and as a result of the analysis, a structure consisting of 4 factors and 23 expressions was found. Confirmatory factor analysis was applied to the data to confirm the structure found. It was determined that the model obtained as a result of the analysis fit the data perfectly. Results: A measurement tool consisting of 4 dimensions and 23 statements named "Anxiety", "Precaution", "Access Anxiety" and "Obsession" was developed. Conclusion: It was concluded that the developed scale is a reliable and valid psychometric measurement tool that can be used to measure individuals' attitudes towards plagomania behavior. It is expected that this study will pioneer and guide related studies. | |
