This study was prepared to analyse the effect of virtual reality headset, which became popular in today's technology, on strength exercises. For this purpose, the impact of the virtual reality glasses in the continuity on strength over the bench press movement is examined. Since the effect was analysed over the continuity on the strength, an experimental research was conducted. The participant group is composed of individuals who have been active in doing sports for at least 1 year and are members of MFC Fitness & Gym in Ataşehir, İstanbul. The participants consist of male (n = 10), female (n = 6) 16 people in total. Experimental group consists of male (n = 5), female (n = 3) and control group consists of male (n = 5), female (n = 3) people. Samsung Gear VR Oculus was used as virtual reality headset. A video was chosen in a way that would distract the focus of the participants, awaken the feeling of being in a different environment, but would not prevent them from doing the exercise. Bench press exercise was performed on Smith Machine (multi-push) equipment due to it is safe and ergonomic. The participants were worked out 3 days a week for 2 weeks by resting every other day. The data obtained were analyzed in SPSS program. Pretest and posttest paired t tests were evaluated for all groups. As a result, there was no significant difference between the two groups. However, it was seen that they made progress when the pretest-posttests within the groups were examined. The participants stated that the focal points were dispersed when they used the virtual reality glasses and the focus on the pain felt while continuing the exercise was delayed.
