dc.description.abstractSosyal devlet kavramının zayıflamasıyla birlikte belediyeler yol, su, alt yapı, çevre temizliği gibi faaliyetlerinin yanında sosyal yardım ve sosyal hizmet faaliyetleri yaparak oluşan boşluğu doldurmaya çalışmaktadır.  Sosyal Belediyecilik küreselleşmenin beraberinde getirdiği birçok soruna çözüm arayışına yerel düzeyde katkı sağlamaktadır.   Çalışmamız da Türkiye’de yerel yönetim birimleri, sosyal devlet ve sosyal politika kavramları, Türkiye’de sosyal belediyecilik faaliyetleri ve Bornova Belediyesinin yaptığı sosyal belediyecilik faaliyetleri incelenecektir.
dc.description.abstractWith the weakening of the consept of social state, municipalities are trying to fill the gap created by activities such as road, water, infrastructure and environmental cleaning as well as social assistance and social service activities. Social Municipality contributes to the search for solutions to many problems brought about by globalization at the local level. Our work in local government units in Turkey, the consept of the welfare state and social policies, municipal social activities and social activities carried out by the municipality in Turkey Bornova Municipality will be examined. The reason for choosing Bornova Municipality is that it is a developed district with a deep rooted history, hosting various income groups and providing important services in the field of social municipality.İn our study in which qualitative research methods were used, the relevant directorates of Bornova Municipality engaged in Social Municipality activities were interviewed.
