Mimarlık öğrencilerinin “bütünleşik fiziksel aktivite merkezi” örneğinde mekân tasarımı deneyimleri

| dc.description.abstract | İstanbul Gedik Üniversitesi Mimarlık Bölümünde, 7.yarıyılda verilen, Mimari Erişilebilirlik Dersi kapsamında mimari erişim kavramı öğrencilere farklı ölçek ve boyutlarda anlatılmaktadır. Mimari erişilebilirliği salt rampa veya hissedilebilir yüzey uygulamaları yapılarak çözümlenmesi dışında, mekân kullanımında konfor, güvenlik ve sağlıklı yaşam ölçütlerinin önemli olduğu kavratılmaya çalışılmaktadır.Bu bağlamda, Kalkınma Bakanlığı ve İstanbul Kalkınma Ajansı tarafından desteklenen ve İstanbul Gedik Üniversitesi’nin koordinatörlüğünde yürütülen "Aktifiz Toplumun İçindeyiz, 0-29 yaş Çocuklar İçin Bütünleşik Fiziksel Aktivite Merkezi" isimli proje kapsamında kurulan merkez, dönem projesi olarak ele alınmıştır. Öğrenciler, merkezin işlevini, eğitim sistemini yöneticilerden dinlemiş, velilerle soru-cevap şeklinde görüşme yapmış ve öğrencileri izlemişlerdir. Derste aldıkları teorik bilgiler ile mevcut binanın analizini yapmış, sentezleyerek bir sonuca varmaya çalışmışlardır. Öğrencilerden, farklı çalışma grupları oluşturularak, mevcut fiziksel aktivite merkezinin iyileştirilmesi için önerilerinin tespiti, yeni bir merkez tasarımı kararlarını oluşturmaları ve tasarım kriterleri belirlemeleri istenmiştir.20 mimarlık öğrencisi ile yapılan çalışmanın, öğrencilerin mesleki ve insani farkındalıklarının artmasına ve toplumda kendisinden farklı gördüğü bireylerle kolay iletişime geçebilmesinde olumlu etki yaptığı görülmüştür. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The concept of architectural access is explained in different scales and dimensions within the scope of "Architectural Accessibility Course" given in 7th semester in Istanbul Gedik University Architecture Department. Apart from the absolute ramp or sensible surface applications of the concept of architectural accessibility, the importance of comfort, safety and healthy living criteria are tried to be taught in the use of space. In this context, the Center, which was established within the scope of the project titled in “We are Active, We are in Society, Integrated Physical Activity Center for 0-29 years old people”, is supported by the Ministry of Development and Istanbul Development Agency and carried out under the coordination of Istanbul Gedik University, is considered as a term project. The students received the information about the function of the center and the education system from the managers, interviewed parents and followed the students who study at the center. They tried to come to a conclusion by synthesizing the theoretical knowledge they received in the course and the analysis of the existing building. The students were asked to establish different working groups, to determine their suggestions for improvement of the existing physical activity center, to create a new center design decisions and to design criteria. The results of the study conducted with 20 architectural students showed that their professional and human awareness was increased, and it was found to be effective in communicating easily with the individuals in the society. | |
