Özet
Bu çalışma, Birleşmiş Milletler’in (BM) başlatmış olduğu bir sosyal sorumluluk projesi olan HeForShe toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği kampanyasının, topluma ulaşmasında sporun etkisini incelenmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada HeForShe projesinin 2014’de tanıtımının yapıldığı tarihten, 2019 yılı başına kadar ulusal ve uluslararası arenada projeye olan ilgi araştırılmış, ilgiyi arttıran etkiler incelenmiştir. Yöntemde arama motoru üzerinden alınan ikincil veriler kullanılmış, verilerin analizinde öne çıkan durumların neden sonuç ilişkileri incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda, ulusal çerçevede projeye desteğini açıklayan Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü’nün önemli ölçüde etkiyi artırdığı görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak; spor, sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde etkin olarak öne çıkarılmalıdır. Dünyada sınıf farklılığı, cinsiyet ayrımcılığı, köken farklılığı gözetmeden toplumu bir araya getirme gücü olan sporun; toplumla güçlü duygusal bağ kurmada ve toplumun her kitlesine ulaşmada geniş ve evrensel etki alanı bulunmaktadır. Bu özellikleri ile spor, toplumun faydasına olan her çalışmada etkin bir paydaş olacaktır.
This study aims to examine the effect of sports on reaching the society of the HeForShe gender equality campaign, a social responsibility project initiated by the United Nations (UN). In the study, the interest in the project in the national and international arena from the date the HeForShe project was introduced in 2014 until the beginning of 2019 was investigated, and the effects that increased the interest were examined. In the method, descriptive research approach with qualitative research method was adopted. In order to obtain descriptive results, secondary data obtained from the search engine were used, and the cause-effect relationships of the prominent situations in the analysis of the data were examined. As a result of the examination, it was seen that Fenerbahçe Sports Club, which announced its support for the project in the national framework, significantly increased the impact. As a result; Sports should be prominently featured in social responsibility projects. Sport, which has the power to bring society together regardless of class difference, gender discrimination, origin; It has a wide and universal effect area in establishing a strong emotional bond with the society and reaching every mass of the society. With these features, sports will be an active stakeholder in every work that benefits the society.
