Özet
Hastane öncesi ortamda psikiyatrik durumlarla sıklıkla karşılaşılmaktadır. Birinci basamak sağlık hizmetlerinde görevli ilk ve acil yardım teknikerlerinin acil psikiyatrik yardıma ihtiyacı olan bireyleri fiziksel ve psikososyal açıdan değerlendirebilme, uygun tedavi ve bakımı sağlama, olası riskleri görme ve engelleme, kriz yönetimi gibi birçok konuda bilgi ve beceri sahibi olmaları gerekmektedir. Bu sebeple ilk ve acil yardım teknikerlerinin psikiyatrik acil durumları anlama, değerlendirme ve yönetme yeteneğini geliştirmesine ihtiyaç vardır. Bu derleme makalede literatür taraması doğrultusunda hastane öncesi ortamda en sık karşılaşılan psikiyatrik acil durumlar ve uygulamada kullanılması gereken temel yaklaşımların belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Psychiatric conditions are frequently encountered in the prehospital setting. First and emergency aid technicians in primary health care services need to have knowledge and skills in many subjects such as physical and psychosocial evaluation of individuals in need of emergency psychiatric help, providing appropriate treatment and care, seeing and preventing possible risks, and crisis management. For this reason, there is a need for first and emergency technicians to develop their ability to understand, evaluate and manage psychiatric emergencies. In this review article, it is aimed to determine the most common psychiatric emergencies in the prehospital setting and the basic approaches that should be used in practice in line with the literature review.
