Veriler SPSS 25 for Windows paket program ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan sporcuların yaş ortalaması 25'dir. Sporcuların %45'i salgın döne-minde ailesi ile birlikte yaşamaktadır. Sporcuların salgın süresince evde egzersiz yapma durumu %73 oranla pozitif olarak belirtilmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan sporcuların %64'ü 3 ana öğün tüketirken, %5'i 5 öğün ve üzeri öğün tüketimi yapmaktadır. (p<0.05).
The aim of this study was to determine the effects of the nutritional habits of profes-sional female basketball players on their eating attitude and depression during the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 100 professional female basketball players, 26 from Women's Basketball Super League players, 52 from Turkish Women's Basketball League players, and 22 from Women's Basketball Regional League players, partici-pated in our study. Four questionnaires were applied to measure the eating attitude and depression status of basketball players participating in the study. In addition, a socio-demographic and nutritional habit information questionnaire was used. These questionnaires include questions about the foods that the athletes consume during different emotional states, their daily moods and their eating attitudes. Impact status is calculated with the answers given. The data were analyzed with the SPSS 25 for Windows package program. The average age of the athletes participating in the study is 25. 45% of the athletes live with their families during the epidemic period. The status of the athletes to exer-cise at home during the epidemic was stated to be positive with a rate of 73%. While 64% of the athletes participating in the study consume 3 main meals, 5% consume 5 meals or more. 54% of the participants stated that they skipped meals in some cases. It is seen in our research that athletes living alone during the epidemic are affected by the nutrition type of the social environment, the variable eating attitude in mood changes, and the reflection of depression on nutrition. In this study, a significant dif-ference was found between the amount of meal consumption, the reason for skipping meals and eating habits (p<0.05). In a study on this subject, negative situations, emo-tional eating desires were higher in women. As a result; It has been determined that the nutritional habits of the athletes participa-ting in the research have an effect on their depression status and eating attitude. (p<0.05).
