dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, yetişkinlerde çocukluk dönemi algılanan ebeveyn tutumları, yeme tutumları ve narsisistik kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bireylerin çocukluk döneminde algıladıkları ebeveyn tutumlarına, yeme tutumlarına ve narsisistik kişilik özelliklerine bakılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini 18-65 yaş aralığındaki 354 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aşamasında Demografik Bilgi Formu ve Kısaltılmış Algılanan Ebeveyn Tutumları Ölçeği-Çocuk Formu (KAET-Ç) bunun ardından Yeme Tutumu Testi-40 (YTT-40) ve Narsisistik Kişilik Envanteri-16 (NKE-16) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada Kısaltılmış Algılanan Ebeveyn Tutumları Ölçeği'nin Anne Tutumları Aşırı Koruyuculuk alt boyut toplam puanı ile Yeme Tutumu Ölçeğinin genel toplam puanı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde zayıf ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca Kısaltılmış Algılanan Ebeveyn Tutumları Ölçeği'nin Baba Tutumları Aşırı Koruyuculuk alt boyut toplam puanı ile Yeme Tutumu Ölçeğinin genel toplam puanı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde zayıf ilişki bulunmuştur. Kısaltılmış Algılanan Ebeveyn Tutumları Ölçeği'nin Anne Tutumları Reddedicilik alt boyut toplam puanı ile Yeme Tutumu Ölçeğinin genel toplam puanı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde zayıf ilişki bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte Narsisistik Kişilik Ölçeğinin genel toplam puanı ile Yeme Tutumu Ölçeğinin genel toplam puanı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde zayıf ilişki bulunmuştur. Yeme tutumu yordayıcılarını bulmak için yapılan regresyon analizinde Narsisistik Kişilik Ölçeği'nin genel toplam puanının Yeme Tutumu için anlamlı şekilde yordayıcı parametre olduğu görülmüştür fakat Algılanan Ebeveyn Tutumları Ölçeği'nin Anne Tutumları Aşırı Koruyuculuk, Baba Tutumları Aşırı Koruyuculuk ve Anne Tutumları Reddedicilik alt boyutlarının anlamlı şekilde yordayıcı parametre olmadığı görülmüştür.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to examine the relationship between childhood perceived parental attitudes, eating attitudes and narcissistic personality traits in adults. It is aimed to look at the parental attitudes, eating attitudes and narcissistic personality traits that individuals perceive during their childhood. The sample of the study consists of 354 participants between the ages of 18-65. During the data collection process, Demographic Information Form and Egna Minnen Betraffande Uppfostran – My Memories of Upbringing, followed by Eating Attitudes Test, and Narcissistic Personality Inventory were used. In the study, a statistically significant positive and weak correlation was found between the total score of the EMBU Maternal Attitudes Overprotection sub-dimension and the overall total score of the Eating Attitude Scale. In addition, a statistically significant positive and weak correlation was found between the total score of the EMBU Father's Attitudes Overprotection sub-dimension and the overall total score of the Eating Attitude Scale. A statistically significant, positive and weak correlation was found between the total score of the EMBU Maternal Attitudes Rejection sub-dimension and the overall total score of the Eating Attitude Scale. However, a statistically significant positive and weak correlation was found between the grand total score of the Narcissistic Personality Inventory and the grand total score of the Eating Attitude Scale. In the regression analysis performed to find the eating attitude predictors, the grand total score of the Narcissistic Personality Scale was found to be a significant predictor of the Eating Attitudes, but the sub-dimensions of Perceived Parental Attitudes Scale's Maternal Attitudes Overprotective, Father Attitudes Overprotective, and Maternal Attitudes Rejection were not significantly predictive parameters for Eating Attitudes.
