| dc.description.abstract | Hastane laboratuvarında yapılan tüm çalışmaların çalışma konusu ne olursa olsun mutlaka enfeksiyon kaynağı olduğu düşünülmelidir. Özellikle laboratuvar hizmetlerinde enfeksiyöz ajanlarla çalışırken laboratuvar çalışanlarının enfeksiyon kapmalarına ve hatta ölümlere neden olması bu ajanların önemini ortaya koymaktadır. Laboratuvarda çalışılan enfeksiyon etkenlerinin topluma yayılması sıklıkla karşılaşılan sorunlardandır. Enfeksiyonun yayılması sorunu korunma yöntemleriyle en aza indirilebilmektedir. İş güvenliğinde korunma yöntemi ilk olarak tehlike kaynağında korunma yöntemidir. Laboratuvar yapılarının tasarım aşamasındayken yangın alarmı, ikaz sistemi, biyolojik ve kimyasal arıtma sistemi gibi mühendislik işlemi gerektiren düzenlemelerkaynağında korunma yöntemini kapsamaktadır. Bireysel korumaya yönelik olarak; eldiven, önlük, ayakkabı koruyucusu, maske, yüz ve göz koruyucusu gibi kişisel korunma donanımlarının (KKD) kullanımının sağlanması, enfekte olma riski yüksek materyallerle çalışanların bulaş açısından farkındalığını sağlayacak eğitimlerin verilmesi gelmektedir. Çalışmada; toplu korunma yöntemi olan laboratuvarların kurulum aşamasında iken alınması gereken önlemler ve bireysel korunma yöntemi olan laboratuvar çalışanlarının uyması gereken kişisel, kimyasal, biyolojik, elektrik ve cihaz güvenlik kuralları verilmiştir. Laboratuvarda meydana gelen acil durum ve kazalarda izlenilmesi gereken yol, uyulması gereken iş sağlığı güvenliği kural ve önlemlerine değinilmiştir. Hazırlanan tezde laboratuvarda uyulması gereken güvenlik önlemleri ile ilgili yapılmış olan akademik çalışmalar, yasal mevzuat ve sağlık kurumlarındaki laboratuvarlar incelenmiştir. Tezin, sağlık kurumlarının laboratuvarlarında alınması gereken güvenlik önlemleri ve acil eylem planı konularında rehber niteliğinde bir kaynak oluşturması amaçlanmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Health-care institutions, which protect the public health, most of the time threaten the public health by causing accidents and the spread of infections if they do not take the necesary safety precautions. The laboratories which have very significant roles in the diagnosis of the diseases are the sources of the spread of infections both to the laboratory staff and the public. Most of the time spread of the infection results with death. Therefore at the research conducted laboratories of many health-care institutions have been evaluated and inspected for the precautions to be taken. The precautions to be taken at the laboratories are classified in two groups. The first group includes the precautions to be taken at the planning, construction stage while the second group include the precautions to be applied during the operation stage. The selection of the site for the laboratory, fire alarm system, chemical and biological wastewater treatment systems, gas pipes and valves, electrical and air conditioning systems, lightining of the area, specifications of the materials used, the space between the benches, wstorage room of the chemicals and hazardous materials, units for the operations with the infected agents, rest rooms for the laboratory staff as well as the rooms for the breaks are the engineering precautions. The precautions to be taken to during the operation is the preparationof the the emergency plans, training the laboratary staff and monitoring the success of the trainings, supplying the personel protection equipment and mönitoring the usage of them, supplying containers for the collection of sharps, hazardous, recyclable and domestic wastes separately, rules about the hygienic and housekeeping rules. Also evaluation of the times of the accidents, type of the employees run into the accidents and the social conditions causing the occurrance of the accidents are investigated. The results of the research, the precautions to be taken and the related legislation are presented with tables and pictures in detail in the thesis. | |
