Özet
Araştırmada, evli kişilerin duygu düzenleme güçlüğü, evlilik uyumu ve somatizasyon arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda duygu düzenleme güçlüğü, evlilik uyumu ve somatizasyon düzeylerinin katılımcıların demografik bilgilerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, Türkiye genelinde yaşayan 18-65 yaş arası 318 kadın ve 105 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 423 evli yetişkin kişilerden veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmada, katılımcıların demografik bilgilerini öğrenmek amacıyla "Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu", evlilik uyumunu öğrenmek için "Yenilenmiş Çift Uyum Ölçeği", duygu düzenleme güçlüğü düzeylerini öğrenmek için "Duygu Düzenleme Güçlüğü Ölçeği- Kısa Form" ve somatizasyon düzeylerini öğrenmek için "Somatizasyon Ölçeği" verilmiştir. Analizler SPSS for Windows 22. Versiyon ile gerçekleşmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), korelasyon ve çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; evlilik uyumunun cinsiyete göre farklılaşmadığı saptanmıştır. Kadınların duygu düzenleme güçlüğü ve somatizasyon düzeyinin erkeklerinden anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Evlilik uyumu ve duygu düzenleme güçlüğünün yaşa göre farklılaşmadığı saptanmıştır. 18-24 yaş arası katılımcıların somatizasyon düzeyinin, 24-40 yaş ve 40 yaş ve üzeri olan katılımcılara göre daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. 10 yıl ve üzeri evli olan katılımcıların evlilik uyumu düzeylerinin, 0-5 yıl ve 5-10 yıl arası evli olanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Duygu düzenleme güçlüğü ve somatizasyon düzeyleri evlilik süresine göre farklılaşmadığı saptanmıştır. Ekonomik düzeyi kötü olan katılımcıların evlilik uyumu düzeylerinin, orta ve iyi olanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Ekonomik düzeyi kötü olan katılımcıların duygu düzenleme güçlüğü ve somatizasyon düzeylerinin, orta ve iyi olanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Üniversite ve üstü mezun olan katılımcıların evlilik uyumu düzeyinin ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise mezunu olanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Üniversite ve üstü mezunu katılımcıların duygu düzenleme güçlüğü ve somatizasyon düzeylerinin, ortaokul ve lise mezunu olan katılımcılardan anlamlı düzeyde düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Psikiyatrik destek alanların evlilik uyumu düzeyi, psikiyatrik destek almayanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Psikiyatrik destek alanların duygu düzenleme güçlüğü ve somatizasyon düzeyi, psikiyatrik destek almayanlara göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Duygu düzenleme güçlüğünün evlilik uyumunu negatif yönde yordadığı saptanmıştır. Somatizasyon düzeyinin evlilik uyumunu negatif yönde yordadığı saptanmıştır.
In the study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between difficulty in emotion regulation, marital adjustment and somatization in married people. At the same time, it was examined whether the difficulty in emotion regulation, marital adjustment and somatization levels differed according to the demographic information of the participants. In the study, data were collected from 423 married adults, 318 women and 105 men, aged between 18-65 years, living in Turkey. In the study, "Sociodemographic Information Form" was given to learn the demographic information of the participants, "Revised Couple Adjustment Scale" to learn about marital adjustment, "Emotional Dysregulation Scale-Short Form" to learn the levels of emotional dysregulation, and "Somatization Scale" to learn the somatization levels. Analyzes were performed with SPSS for Windows Version 22. In the analysis of the data, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation and multiple regression analysis were performed. As a result of the research; It was found that marital adjustment did not differ according to gender. It was determined that women's emotional regulation difficulties and somatization levels were significantly higher than men's. It was determined that marital adjustment and difficulty in emotion regulation did not differ according to age. It was determined that the somatization level of the participants aged 18-24 was higher than the participants aged 24-40 and 40 years and older. It was determined that the marital adjustment levels of the participants who were married for 10 years or more were significantly lower than those who were married for 0-5 years and 5-10 years. Difficulty in emotion regulation and somatization levels did not differ according to the duration of marriage. It was determined that the marital adjustment levels of the participants with a bad economic level were significantly lower than those with moderate and good levels. It was determined that the difficulty in emotion regulation and somatization levels of the participants with a bad economic level were significantly higher than those with a moderate and good level. It was determined that the level of marital adjustment of the participants who graduated from university or higher was significantly higher than those who graduated from primary, secondary and high school. It was determined that the difficulty in emotion regulation and somatization levels of the university graduates and higher education graduates were significantly lower than the secondary and high school graduates. The marital adjustment level of those who received psychiatric support was found to be significantly lower than those who did not receive psychiatric support. Emotion regulation difficulties and somatization levels of those who received psychiatric support were found to be significantly higher than those who did not receive psychiatric support. It was found that difficulty in emotion regulation predicted marital adjustment negatively. It was found that the level of somatization negatively predicted marital adjustment.
