| dc.description.abstract | İş sağlığı ve güvenliği bilincinin işyerlerinde ve toplumun her seviyesinde yaygınlaştırılması, okullarda ve işyerlerinde verilen etkili iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimleri ile sağlanabilir. Çalışanların işyerlerinde maruz kaldıkları riskler ve korunma yolları hakkında bilgi seviyelerinin arttırılması ve davranışlarının iyileştirilmesi için en geçerli aktivitelerin başında iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimleri gelmektedir. İşyeri koşullarının iyileştirilmesi, iş kazalarından veya meslek hastalıklarından doğan istenmeyen maliyetlerin azaltılması, kalite ve verimliliğin arttırılması, organizasyonel iklimin geliştirilmesi ve işyerinde etkili bir iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kültürü oluşturulmasında doğru iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitim metodunun seçimi büyük öneme sahiptir. Yetişkin eğitimlerinde yaygın olarak kabul gören uygulamalı eğitimler ile teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte videolu eğitimler gibi çevrimiçi iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimleri de git gide yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışma bir açık maden işletmesinde çalışan personele verilen klasik sınıf eğitimi, videolu eğitim ve uygulamalı eğitim yöntemlerinden hangisinin daha etkili sonuçlar verdiğini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Yapılan eğitimler öncesi ve sonrası katılımcılara uygulanan sınavlardaki başarı oranları IBM SPSS programının farklı test metotları ile analiz edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirmelerde yetişkinlerin eğitimi konularında geçmişte yapılan araştırmalara benzer sonuçlar elde edilmiş olup, uygulamalı iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimleri alan çalışanların videolu eğitimler ve sınıf eğitimleri alan çalışanlardan daha başarılı olduğu görülmüştür. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In order to increase the perception of safety among the employees and the public, effective health and safety training should be delivered in schools and workplaces. Occupational health and safety training is one of the most efficient activities to increase the knowledge level of employees about the risks they are exposed to in the workplace and ways of protection and to improve their behaviour. Choosing the right occupational health and safety training method is of great importance in improving workplace conditions, reducing undesired costs arising from occupational accidents or occupational diseases, increasing quality and productivity, improving the organizational climate and creating an effective occupational health and safety culture in the workplace. Hands-on training programs are commonly used lately in occupational health and safety training as they are widely accepted as being efficient in adults learning. Also with the recent developments in technology, video training is being used appealing a nice method for remote learning. This study aims to investigate which training method is more effective among the classical classroom training, video training and hands-on training methods based on the training delivered to the employees working in the open-pit mine industry. The success rates of the exams applied to the participants before and after each training sessions were evaluated with different test methods of the IBM SPSS program. The study confirms the suggestions made in earlier studies regarding effective adult learning methods. The employees who received practical occupational health and safety training were more successful than those who received video training and classroom training. | |
