Bankacılık ve inşaat sektöründeki şirketlerin finansal yapılarının COVID 19 dönemi ve öncesinde değerlendirilmesi

Türkiye ekonomisinin lokomotif sektörlerinden olan bankacılık ve inşaat sektörleri hem ekonomik büyümenin gerçekleşmesinde hem de istihdamın artmasında ekonomiye önemli katkılar sunmaktadırlar. İçinde bulunduğumuz yıllarda yaşadığımız ekonomik kriz ve covid-19 pandemisi, ekonominin itici kuvvetleri olarak görülen bu iki sektörü derinden etkilemeye devam etmektedir. Hem dünyada hem de ülkemizde inşaat sektörü ekonominin lokomotifi konumundadır. Pandemi kısıtlamalarında ülkenin her yerinde tecrit nedeniyle ülke genelinde tüm ulaşımlar aksaması ve bu nedenle inşaat sektörüne malzeme gelememesi ve hiçbir işçinin evinden işe gelemiyor olması sektörde çalışmaların durmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, bankacılık ve inşaat sektörlerinin finansal yapılarının covid-19 öncesi ve covid-19 dönemi devamında değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada bankacılık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 9 banka ile inşaat sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 7 firmanın 2016-2021 arası performansı incelenmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlar covid-19'un bankacılık ve inşaat sektöründeki yıkıcı etkilerini ortaya koymuştur.

The banking and construction sectors, which are among the locomotive sectors of the Turkish economy, make significant contributions to the economy both in realizing economic growth and in increasing employment. The economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, which we have been experiencing in the current years, continue to deeply affect these two sectors, which are seen as the driving forces of the economy. In particular, the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected the whole world, spread to the world in a short time and negatively affected all life and economic sectors. The construction sector is the locomotive of the economy both in the world and in our country. Due to the lockdown in all parts of the country in the pandemic restrictions, the disruption of all transportation throughout the country, and therefore the inability to bring materials to the construction industry and the fact that no workers can come to work from their homes caused the work in the sector to stop. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the financial structures of the banking and construction sectors before and after Covid 19. In the study, the performance of 9 banks operating in the banking sector and 7 companies operating in the construction sector between 2016 and 2021 was examined. The results achieved reveal the devastating effects of Covid-19 in the banking and construction sector.
