Emziren annelerin kontraseptif kullanma niyetleri ve etkileyen faktörler

dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu araştırma, 0-6 aylık bebeği olup bebeğine sadece anne sütü veren annelerin kontraseptif kullanma niyetlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki araştırma, Mart-Temmuz 2021 tarihleri arasında, İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasında hizmet veren bir aile sağlığı merkezine başvuran 165 anne ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, tanıtıcı soru formu ve Kontraseptif Niyet Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Annelerden üç ve üzeri gebeliği olanların, gebeliği plansız olanların, önceki gebeliğinin üzerinden iki yıldan fazla süre geçenlerin, tekrar gebe kalmayı düşünmeyenlerin, gebelik öncesinde modern yöntem kullananların, şu anda yöntem kullananların ve aile planlaması danışmanlığı almayanların kontraseptif kullanma niyetinin daha yüksek; aile planlaması yöntemini eşi seçen ve emzirmenin yöntem seçimindeki kararını etkilediğini belirtenlerin ise kontraseptif kullanma niyetinin daha düşük olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Sonuç: Emzirme döneminde olan annelerin kontraseptif kullanım niyetlerine etki eden faktörlere yönelik girişimlerin planlanması önerilmektedir.
dc.description.abstractAim: This study was carried out to determine the contraceptive use intentions of mothers with 0- 6 months old infants who exclusively breastfeeding. Material and Method: This descriptive study was conducted with 165 mothers who applied to a family health center serving on the European side of Istanbul between March and July 2021. The data were obtained with the descriptive questionnaire and the Contraceptive Intention Scale. Results: Among the mothers, those who have three or more pregnancies, those with an unplanned pregnancy, those who have passed their previous pregnancy for more than 2 years, and those who do not plan to become pregnant again, those who used modern methods before pregnancy, those who currently use family planning methods and those who do not receive family planning counseling have a higher intention to use contraceptives; it was determined that the intention to use contraceptives was lower for those whose partner chose the family planning method and stated that breastfeeding affected their decision in choosing the method (p<0.05). Conclusion: It is recommended to plan interventions for the factors affecting the contraceptive use intentions of mothers who are breastfeeding.
