| dc.description.abstract | Çalışmada jeopolitik biliminde çok tartışılan mekân kavramının anlam dünyası ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda mekân kavramının anlam dünyası ilk önce felsefi ve etimolojik açıdan, daha sonra da jeopolitik açıdan incelenmiştir. Mekân kavramı gerek felsefi ve köken bilimsel bakımdan gerekse çeşitli jeopolitik teorilerin görgül tarih içerisindeki uygulamaları bakımından incelemeye tabi tutulduğunda, bu kavramın insan-çevre etkileşimi ya da insan çevre birlikteliği temelinde bir varoluşsal anlam dünyasına sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Çalışmada mekân kavramının öncelikle farklı dünya dillerindeki karşılıkları yorumsamacı bakış açısından incelenmiş; daha sonra da Alman, Amerikan, Rus, Çin ve Japon jeopolitik düşünce okullarının mekân kavramına bakış açısı kısaca ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Mekân kavramının incelenmesi neticesinde ilk olarak mekân kavramına karşılık gelen kelimelerin varoluşsal bir anlam dünyasına sahip oldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. İkinci olarak ise farklı teori ve doktrinler çerçevesinde incelenen mekân kavramının mekânsal genişleme sürecinde devletler için meşruiyet kaynağı olarak kullanıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the meaning of the concept of space, which is much discussed in geopolitical science, was tried to be put forward. In this context, the meaning of the concept of space was first examined from a philosophical and etymological point of view and then from a geopolitical point of view. When the concept of space was examined in terms of both philosophical and anthropological aspects and the applications of various geopolitical theories in empirical history, it was concluded that the cited concept had a world of existential meaning on the basis of human environment interaction or human-environment union. In this study, the concept of space was firstly examined in terms of hermeneutical perspective from different world languages; then, the perspectives of German, American, Russian, Chinese and Japanese geopolitical schools upon the concept of space were briefly examined. As a result of the examination of the concept of space, it was concluded that the words corresponding to the concept of space have an existential world of meaning. Secondly, it was concluded that the concept of space, which was examined within the framework of different theories and doctrines, was used as a source of legitimacy for states in the process of spatial expansion. | |
