dc.description.abstractThis study is a review in which the qualitative and quantitative data obtained from studies investigating the views of students and academicians during “emergency distance education” are discussed in a wider context such as the future of social science education. The focus is on experiences of academician and student in terms of their approaches to measurement and evaluation during the emergency distance education. It is problematized that the traditional logic of educational system reproduces itself in education mediated by technology. In this context, the strengths and weaknesses of education carried out with technological facilities, its effectiveness and efficiency in terms of social sciences education and ultimately the future of social sciences education are discussed.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışma acil uzaktan eğitimin uygulamaya konduğu süre boyunca öğrenci ve akademisyen görüşlerini araştıran çalışmalardan elde edilen nitel ve nicel verinin sosyal bilimler eğitiminin geleceği gibi daha geniş bir bağlamda bir araya getirildiği bir derleme çalışmasıdır. Acil uzaktan eğitim sürecinde ölçme ve değerlendirmeye yaklaşımları açısından akademisyen ve öğrenci deneyimlerine odaklanılmıştır. Türkiye’de acil uzaktan eğitim uygulamalarının geleneksel eğitim mantığıyla yürütüldüğü tartışılmış, bugün süreç içerisinde yaşanan problem ve aksaklıkların da kaynağı olarak görülen; geleneksel sistem mantığının kendini aynı şekilde teknolojiyle aracılanan eğitim içerisinde üretmesi sorunsallaştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda teknolojik olanaklarla yürütülen eğitimin güçlü ve zayıf yönleri, sosyal bilimler eğitimi açısından etkililik ve verimliliği ile nihayetinde sosyal bilimler eğitiminin geleceği tartışılmıştır.
