dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, yetişkin bireylerin depreme yönelik tutumlarını ortaya koymak amacıyla bir ölçeğin geliştirilmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda İstanbul ili Avcılar, Beylikdüzü ve Esenyurt ilçelerinde ikametini sürdüren 18 yaş üstü 363 kişi örneklem kapsamına alınmıştır. İstanbul ilinin örneklem kapsamına alınmasının sebebi, yakın gelecekte İstanbul’da yüksek şiddetli bir depremin bekleniyor olmasıdır. İstanbul içerisinde ise Avcılar, Beylikdüzü ve Esenyurt ilçelerinin örneklem kapsamına alınmasının sebebi ise, bu bölgelerin depreme karşı yüksek risk barındırmasıdır. Katılımcılara hem çevrimiçi hem de yüz yüze anket yoluyla ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcılara ölçek kavramsal yapı ve madde havuzunun oluşturulması, uzman görüşünün alınması, pilot çalışma yapılması, test yeniden test güvenilirliği yapılması aşamalarından sonra uygulanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde IBM SPSS ve AMOS paket programlarından faydalanılmıştır. İç tutarlılık güvenilirliği için madde analizi yapıldıktan sonra yapısal geçerlilik analizi yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda “Kaygı, Önlem, İhmal ve Kadercilik Algısı” şeklinde ifade edilen 4 faktör 41 sorudan oluşan bir ölçek geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen ölçeğin depreme yönelik tutumu ölçmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to develop a scale in order to reveal the attitudes of the society towards earthquakes. For this purpose, 363 people over the age of 18 residing in Avcılar, Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt districts of Istanbul were included in the sample. The reason why Istanbul was included in the sample is that a high-intensity earthquake is expected in Istanbul in the near future. Within Istanbul, the reason why Avcılar, Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt districts are included in the sample is that these regions have a high risk against earthquakes. Participants were reached through both online and face-to-face surveys. The questionnaire was applied to the participants after the stages of conceptual structure and item pool creation, expert opinion, pilot study, test-retest reliability. IBM SPSS and AMOS package programs were used in the analysis of the data obtained within the scope of the study. Structural validity analysis was performed after item analysis for internal consistency reliability. As a result of the analysis, a scale consisting of 41 questions with 4 factors expressed as “Anxiety, Precaution, Neglect and Perception of Fatalism” was developed. It has been concluded that the developed scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool in measuring the attitude towards earthquakes.
