dc.description.abstractIntroduction: The aim of this study was to develop a psychometric measurement tool to assess beliefs regarding complementary and alternative medicine and to ensure its validity. Methods: For the purpose of the study, sample of 735 people was reached between December 2023 and April 2024. During the scale development process, exploratory factor analysis was first conducted using packaged programs. The accuracy of structure determined by exploratory factor analysis was confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. Results: The scale comprises 6 subdimensions, including psychological, self-efficacy, perceived barriers, acceptance, perceived benefits, and spirituality, with a total of 37 items. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of the developed Belief Scale for Complementary and Alternative Medicine was calculated as 0.925. The Bartlett’s test result was significant (p = 0.000), indicating high correlations among variables. Conclusion: The developed Belief Scale for Complementary and Alternative Medicine was found to be a reliable and valid scale with psychometric properties.
dc.description.abstractEinleitung: Ziel dieser Studie war die Entwicklung eines psychometrischen Messinstruments zur Erfassung von & Uuml;berzeugungen bez & uuml;glich der Komplement & auml;r- und Alternativmedizin (KAM) sowie die & Uuml;berpr & uuml;fung seiner Validit & auml;t. Methoden: Im Rahmen der Studie wurde zwischen Dezember 2023 und April 2024 eine Stichprobe von 735 Personen rekrutiert. W & auml;hrend des Skalenentwicklungsprozesses wurde zun & auml;chst eine explorative Faktorenanalyse unter Verwendung statistischer Software durchgef & uuml;hrt. Die durch die explorative Faktorenanalyse identifizierte Struktur wurde anschlie ss end mittels konfirmatorischer Faktorenanalyse & uuml;berpr & uuml;ft. Ergebnisse: Die Skala umfasst sechs Subdimensionen - Psychologie, Selbstwirksamkeit, wahrgenommene Barrieren, Akzeptanz, wahrgenommene Vorteile und Spiritualit & auml;t - mit insgesamt 37 Items. Der Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin-Wert (KMO) der entwickelten Glaubensskala f & uuml;r Komplement & auml;r- und Alternativmedizin betrug 0,925. Das Ergebnis des Bartlett-Tests war signifikant (p = 0,000), was auf hohe Korrelationen zwischen den Variablen hinweist.
